Commissioning a portrait for the first time? If you’re looking for something you and your loved ones can cherish for many years to come we aim to make it as easy as possible for you.
Simply follow the steps below to commission a portrait today.
Kevin offers three options for portraiture:-
- Portrait from a photo - Send a photo of the image you would like painting and select the size you want. Kevin will assess the photo and your size selection and then get back to you with a price and or any questions. Once pricing is agreed you will pay a deposit, the remaining amount will be paid on completion of the portrait.

Studio visit - You can arrange to come into Kevin’s studio in Oldham, Greater Manchester and be posed, sketched and photographed by Kevin for a portrait. You will be able to discuss how you would like to be portrayed and have any questions answered by Kevin in person. Studio visits are only available with advanced booking and a deposit is required.
- Travel - Much like the studio visit but Kevin is able to travel to meet you at a prearranged location. Travel and accommodation expenses will be factored into the pricing and a larger deposit is required.
All portraits are completed in acrylics on wood and then varnished. Turn around time can be up to 8 weeks.
